Study
 |
Instructional
Technology Specialist
Certificate
Program |
The Instructional Technology Specialist
Certificate Program at DeSales University is designed for technology
coordinators, technology trainers, teachers and other education
professionals in K-12 and higher education settings.
 |
Special Education |
The Special Education Program is designed to prepare educators to
work with children and youth who have a variety of mild/moderate
disabilities. Courses in the program allow for application of theory
into practice, incorporation of reflective problem solving,
collaboration with schools and other agencies, and participation in
field-based research.
 |
Liberal Studies |
Liberal Studies majors participate in an interdisciplinary,
self-designed, humanities-based major. Through a carefully constructed
contract, students articulate their specific vocational and academic
goals and supporting courses. In effect, the Liberal Studies students
"customize" their educational plan to meet their unique and
individual goals. This program seeks highly motivated and capable
students who can meet the intellectual rigor of developing a high level
of communication, critical thinking, cooperative learning, and
leadership skills.
