Master Slide Exercise

Fall 2001

 

Step 1.           Start a new BLANK slide show.

 

 

Step 2.           Pick the Title-Subtitle slide to start the show

 

 

 

Step 3.           Switch views to the Master Slide

 

 

Step 4.           Go to format > Apply Design Template & Choose Blue Zilting

 

 

 

Step 5.            Select the title text and change the font to Comic Sans, Bold & WHITE

 

 

 

Step 6.           Do the same with the subtitle text but do not change it to bold.

 

Step 7.           Go to SLIDE SHOW > CUSTOM ANIMATIONS and make the following changes:

a.       Order & Timing:

 

b.       Effects: Title 1 (might come up as Title ? Were are looking for the Header here)

 

 

c.       Effects: Title2 (might come up as Title ? Were looking for the subtitle here)

 

 

d.       Say Okay

 

Step 8.           Close the master slide or switch views to the NORMAL view.

 

Step 9.           Save this exercise as Master Slide Exercise In your network folder.

 

Step 10.       Enter, Master Slide Exercise in the title box and your name in the subtitle: By Tim Jansen

 

Step 11.       Insert a new slide (Title – Bulleted type) and enter the following text:

 

 

Step 12.       Insert a third slide (2 Bulleted list) and type the following heading.  Enter your own text for the two bullet lists. (enter 4 good and 2 bad things about a master slide)

 

 

Step 13.       Enter one last slide stating, “The End” and insert a clip art if you wish

 

Step 14.       Save.

 

Step 15.       View show and see how it looks.

 

Step 16.       Did your master slide settings work?

 

Step 17.       Fix any mistakes then save and close.
